CEDIA is the global association for smart home technology professionals and serves as the home for the people and companies that design, integrate, install, and support connected technologies in the residential environment. Its members, integrators, manufacturers, distributors, design and build professionals, educators, technology specialists, and other partners help make homes more comfortable, secure, efficient, resilient, and responsive to the people who live in them. With a $17 Million budget and 3300 member companies, the association advances the profession through education, certification, standards and recommended practices, workforce development, advocacy, market intelligence, business resources, events, awards, and opportunities for members to learn from one another.

CEDIA seeks a bold, credible, and highly collaborative Global President and Chief Executive Officer to lead the association through a period of significant opportunity and market change. Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Global President and CEO will build on CEDIA’s respected global brand, strong education and certification platform, events, partnerships, committed volunteers, and talented staff while sharpening the association’s value proposition, competitive position, and long-term importance to members and the broader smart home industry.

CEDIA’s new Global President and CEO will partner with the Board to establish a focused, multi-year global strategy that clearly defines CEDIA’s priorities, differentiators, target audiences, growth objectives, investment choices, and measures of success as well as provide leadership and oversight for the leadership team as they translate the strategic plan into annual enterprise goals, operating plans, budgets, and key performance indicators.

The position is remote and may be based anywhere in the continental United States.
