TXAPA Selects Corey Schwarz as COO
Corey Schwarz is the new COO at the Texas Asphalt Pavement Association. He assumes the role following a nationwide search conducted by Vetted Solutions. Schwarz’s appointment reflects the addition of the COO role, which the association’s leadership views as a key component in the organization’s long-range planning.
Schwarz brings more than a decade of proven leadership within the association as director of TXAPA’s Hot Mix Asphalt Center, where he led modernization of facilities and increased reach. Prior to joining TXAPA, Schwarz worked for a hot mix asphalt producer and a consulting engineering and inspection firm. He also served at the Texas Department of Transportation. This breadth of experience gives him a unique perspective across both the private-sector and public-agency sides of the industry.
