NAWIC Names Sheronda Carr as CEO
Sheronda L. Carr, MBA, has assumed the role of CEO at the National Association of Women in Construction, following a competitive national search. Carr brings extensive experience in association management, membership development, and organizational growth. Her background includes association leadership roles in the built environment and manufacturing. Carr succeeds interim executive director Velma Hart, MBA, FASAE, CAE.
Carr most recently served as the vice president of membership for the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. Prior to that, she spent 16 years at the National Association of Home Builders, where she fulfilled roles as the executive director of customized member services and executive director of NAHB Professional Women in Building Council.
