Melissa Greenblatt Joins NATS as Executive Director

The board of directors of the National Association of Teachers of Singing has appointed Melissa Greenblatt as its executive director, effective January 26. Greenblatt brings extensive experience in association management, strategic planning, marketing, and sales to her new role.

Greenblatt will lead a dedicated team of professionals in increasing NATS’s value to members and other constituents, refining the association’s programs, and growing and strengthening its membership base. Before joining NATS, Greenblatt was interim executive director of  the National Dance Education Organization. Prior to her interim leadership tenure, she served NDEO for 18 years as managing director and as director of marketing and membership. Under her leadership, NDEO saw significant increases in revenue and total membership, as well as the launch and growth of the organization’s Online Professional Development Institute featuring more than 50 courses that provide continuing education for teachers.
